What Is Science Kids Science Club?

Science Kids Science Club is a virtual science support community for K–12 students and their families.

The club was created to help students successfully complete a real experimental science project for the NOBCChE Virtual Science Fair—while learning how scientists actually think, ask questions, and test ideas.

Who Should Join?

  • Home & Private/Micro School students (K–12)

  • Families new to science fairs

  • Students who need structure and guidance

  • Parents who want culturally relevant STEM support

  • Students participating in the NOBCChE Virtual Science Fair

What the Club Is (and Is Not)

While the Science Kids Science Club does focus on science fair preparation and support,

we also conduct additional science experiments or activities. Hands-on science activities will be in coordination with the Naationa Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.

Preparing for the NOBCChE Virtual Science Fair

Club meetings align with the NOBCChE Virtual Science Fair timeline and expectations. Families receive:

  • A science fair planning packet

  • An optional Google Doc science notebook guide

  • Video walkthroughs

  • Clear weekly milestones
